Picnic Shelter Improvements

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department are working to replace outdated and underutilized picnic shelters at Hornets Nest Park. Several smaller picnic shelters will be removed and replaced with two larger picnic shelters. Accessible open-air picnic tables will be located where small picnics shelters are removed but not replaced. The existing larger shelters will remain within the park.
