Park Road Park Pavilion

You're invited to tour the new pavilion at Park Road Park! We'll share how you can reserve this space and other pavilion locations for your events. Stop by on Monday, April 13th any time between 4-6pm. You can also register below. The Pavilion is located on the south side of the pond near the playground (see map below). Visitors to the park can also view "Wildflower" by artist Oliver Lewis on the outside of the pavilion. This public art project was created in partnership with the Arts & Science Council.

A +/- 4,500 square foot indoor pavilion is opening soon to replace the old restroom/concession building on the peninsula overlooking the lake at Park Road Park. This new facility was a 2008 Park and Recreation Bond Project to be used for special events, public meetings, park and recreational programming/classes. A pre-function lobby space with restrooms, a catering kitchen, and storage space are included within the building footprint. Outdoor amenities will include an elevated terrace for gathering and an outdoor classroom. An art component will be included in the project adjacent to the facility for public enjoyment and interaction. The existing parking was be improved to include more tree islands and ADA-compliant parking spaces. Outdoor accessible restrooms to park patrons during all park hours will be provided even when the facility is in use. The architectural design of the facility will compliment and blend into the existing natural environment around the pavilion.
