William R. Davie Park Improvements
William R. Davie Park is a 107 acre regional park located at 4635 Pineville-Matthews Road in Charlotte, NC 28226. The park offers multi-purpose fields, ball fields, playgrounds, parking, restrooms, picnic areas, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a dog park, indoor pavilion/conference center, and a recycling center.

Park Improvements will include:
- Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation has initiated design for improvements to the existing dog park that will address accessibility and maintainability. See details below. Thanks to everyone who attended the public meeting for the proposed improvements to the William R. Davie Park dog park on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Please review the survey questions below and provide feedback by July 18, 2025.
- Mecklenburg County Solid Waste and Recycling Division and Park and Recreation Department are working in partnership to improve the recycling-only center at the William Davie Park and replace the current un-staffed recycling bins with a staffed location to reduce recycling contamination. See more information in the "Recycling Center tab".
- In spring 2024, the existing playground structures were replaced by Park and Recreation.
